The GOBAMBOO straw can be cleaned with hot soapy water and the sisal brush provided, they are also dishwasher safe. For disposal recycle the straws and use pliers to untwist the steel and pull out the bristles of the cleaning brush. The steel can be recycled and the bristles composted.
